“Transforming Hate”
with Nina Timani,
an Arab-American who was a victim of a hate-based crime. Timani was able to take her horrible experience, and focus the outcome on positive change. Timani brought her case to court and effectively prosecuted the offenders- a precedent for a lawsuit of its kind, post 9/11. Timani is also involved in reforms to hate crime legislation and programs to support children and youth facing discrimination based on their ethnicity. Please join us to hear her powerful story of healing, transformation, and social change.
Reservation Reccomended. Call 255-386-9224.
A la Carte dinner starts at 6pm followed by talk at 7:30 pm.
